A Few Stray Thoughts

Stray Thoughts

I have to confess, kudos to BFI selection trials committee for organizing the trial tournament very efficiently and very punctually with God’s patience.

After the grueling tournaments for five days, stray thoughts wandered in my mind.

I surely and strongly began to realize that this mind sport can be mind blowing! And it’s the survival of the fittest! It definitely belongs to the young ones as far as the stamina is concerned. Certainly not for someone like me who is getting older and not wiser! In my days of yore I could achieve my dreams easily but not when my
grey cells started multiplying faster than rabbits! Though there are so many world bridge stalwarts are in pilot’s seat flying high!

They say age brings wisdom; I’m eagerly waiting for it!! I don’t regret growing older. It’s a privilege denied to many!

Playing bridge I don’t lose – either I win or I learn!

Finally after wandering and wondering about my stray thoughts, I have seriously come to the conclusion, better late than never, to follow two things.Exercise my rights for fitness and a strict diet of avoiding Russian salad and Chinese cuisine to keep me out of war zone with partner!!
