While the whole field will play together on Saturday, we will divide the field into Gold and Silver sections on Sunday

The Bombay Contract Bridge Association (BCBA) is happy to conduct a Swiss Pairs tournament on the 22-24 January. Details will be up soon. Keep watching this space for more.

Shri Murli Deora Memorial Pairs
The name of Shri Murli Deora will always be etched in our minds for his patronage of bridge, apart from his many other accomplishments in the political arena. To commemorate his birth anniversary on the 10th of January, Mrs. Hema Deora, a very accomplished bridge player herself, and family are sponsoring a day long event that day. The first prize for the event will be Rs. 30,000 and a trophy to the winner. More details will be published soon.

Is the Wellington pairs also the same as Murli Deora swiss pairs ? So there would be 2 pairs in Jan one on the 10th of Jan then on 22-24th Jan?

1. Willingdon pairs has been postponed.
2. In its place BCBA is holding a swiss pairs event.
3. The first prize and trophy for the same is being offered by Mrs. Hema Deora
4. The tournament on the 10th of January is a separate one and we expect to see you there as well.

on 16th december in the open pairs event a psyche bid was brought to the notice of the director which caused damage to us but no penalty was imposed on the offender who went on finishing high in the tournament.
