Formidables and Poddar Housing qualify for Finals:
Team Formidables and Poddar Housing had a decent lead going in the final set with a highly volatile third session in view of the IMPs exchanged. Both the trailing teams, Alexa and Rampage gave a stiff competition to close the deficit near but failed to reach the final destination. It was an exciting session to watch. Good Luck to all finalists !

NK Gupta and Soumya Das lead the MP Pairs Elimination
After the two session of Matchpoint Pairs, NK Gupta and Soumya Das are the leaders of the Elimination round with a score of 1674.25 Matchpoints. In second place was the impressive youngster, Subhashree Basu with Dipankar Halder.
A minimum of 21 participants from this field will qualify for the all play all finals to be held today along with 6 seeded pairs and 1 sponsored pair.
For the eliminated pairs, there is the IMP Pairs Event at 3.30 pm. The event is also open to people who have not participated before. So do rush in with your entries before they close this afternoon.
