Future Masters – Day 1

The Future Masters event started yesterday with 20 teams participating. While we actually expected more of you to participate, we suppose that with 14 teams participating in the National Masters (and we shall discuss this topic next week), the overall bridge playing turnout is not bad.

Gladiators currently lead the field from Avengers Assemble. However, these are early days and a clearer picture would only emerge tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow afternoon will also see the start of the pairs event for the non qualifiers. The losing quarter finalists will enter the second elimination with a pre-determined score. The finals of the event will commence Sunday afternoon. The losing semi finalists will play off for the third place.

For those of you who have not managed to find a team to play with, we urge you to participate in the pairs event, which has a qualification and a final, both comprising of two sessions each. The pairs event also has many attractive prizes and we hope to see a huge participation. Click here to register for pairs
