Future Masters – Day 2

The Future Masters Swiss League is all set to head for a fascinating finish.

Avengers Assemble (Soham Sarkar, Bijit Datta, Saila Ranjan Das, Shouvik Das, Biswadip Roy and Mithun Mukherjee) currently lead the field from Mavericks (Subodh Maskara Amit Dabriwala, Jesal Dabriwala, Subrata Guha and Tapan Bhattacharya). However, with three rounds to go, anybody from the top 15 teams could qualify. Click here for the full result. We wish the contestants all the best for the 3 rounds today.

The top 3 teams get to choose their opponents for the quarter finals from the 5th - 8th positions. The quarter finals will be available for kibitzing by clicking here

The rest of the players can play the pairs provided they have registered. The losing quarter finalists will enter the second session of the eliminations with a pre-determined score provided they have registered in advance. The finals of the event will commence Sunday afternoon. The losing semi finalists will play off for the third place.

Entries for the pairs event will be open till 1 pm today. We would be delighted to see an even huger participation.  Click here to register for pairs

We would like to remind qualifiers that, those who lose the quarter finals will be eligible for participating in the pairs only if they have registered in advance. Hence, please do not attempt to wait till after the last round to decide whether you should play the pairs or not.
