Borivali Sports Club is happy to present the third edition of the Prasad Joshi Memorial Tournament.
This year, bearing in mind that there are far less restrictions on movement, they have decided to keep it a simple event which will allow all of you to participate in a much easier fashion.
The event will be held on 6th, 7th and 8th October 2022 on RealBridge.
This is in order to accommodate players traveling for HCL on the 9th
Scoring and Format
Scoring for the event will be Match Points
All participants will play one session of 16 boards on October 6th starting at 7 pm.
All participants will play one session of 16 boards on October 7th starting at 7 pm.
The field will be then divided into Gold and Silver categories for October 8.
Both categories will play one session of 24 boards on October 8th starting at 5 pm.
Trios are not allowed
Prizes
Cash Prizes worth minimum Rs. 25,000 will be distributed among the winners. Should participation increase, this amount, as well as the number of prizes could increase.
Pairs without camera or mike will not be eligible for prizes
Entry Fee: Rs. 600 per pair

Prasad Joshi was the mentor and coach for a whole host of players at Borivali Sports Club.
The extent of his mentoring was such that Borivali Sports Club went on to claim the National Silver Championship and has been runners up at least one more time.
As a player, he started playing tournament bridge in 1973. He was a finalist in 1st State championship held at Pune in 1981, and winner of the state championship held in 2001 at Ratnagiri.
He had also won several state level tournaments in Nasik and Thane and Sholapur.
