As the terrible 2020 came to an end, a few thoughts and observations (all my own work).
Like, this Covid event has brought our little community much closer in so many ways.
We interact with each other far more often that we did before (we even fight like cats and dogs, but so what?)
We have made many more new friends which we otherwise never would have.
Like we played many more major events than we would have had there been live bridge
Like a lot of us learnt technology which we would have never have even dreamt of touching with a barge pole saying βwe are too old for thisβ. And in this, I speak for myself as well.
Like thanks to a technology like RealBridge, we have been able to put names to faces much better than we used to before.
Like Online bridge has also revealed facets of characters of people which many would not have believed otherwise.
Like, it has brought home to us the fact that even things as horrible as the Covid virus have mixed blessings.
And this final thought.
Like it has also revealed some mind blowing bridge capabilities of people hitherto unknown for their bridge prowess.
