Sanjay Damle Memorial – Pairs

Subhash Bhavnani and T V Ramani win Sanjay Damle Pairs

The Sanjay Damle Memorial pairs event was comfortably won by the Mumbai Duo of Subhash Bhavnani and T V Ramani.

Janak Shah and Abhay Todankar (a team mate of Sanjay Damle) came second.

Special Mention must be made of the two juniors from Ahmedabad, Vidya Patel and Kalpana Gurjar, who stood fifth in the event.

The special prize goes to 14th placed Santanu Das and Rabindra Nath Das, who share a grand total of 1.8 Master points between themselves. Truly creditable performance. We are sure to see a lot more of them in future.

The final results can be seen here.

In the meanwhile, the Super Leaguers are playing the last round which is available for kibitzing.
