Suhas Vaidya Memorial – A Recap

The Suhas Vaidya Memorial event concluded late last night with a bang.

We are overwhelmed with the love and affection shown not only for Suhas, but also for BridgeFromHome as you guys stoically bore the late start to the second session of the IMP pairs. On behalf of the team, I would like to tender a quick apology for that as well. We know we imposed on you and we will do our best to prevent a repeat of the scenario.

To give you all a quick recap, along with 48 teams, 88 pairs participated in the Match Point Pairs and 120 pairs in the IMP pairs.

Local Team Sahyadri won the Teams event handsomely. The highly rated Texan Aces team were runners up.

The match point pairs event was won by Puneet Gangal and Satyabrata Mukherjee (Dhruba). Hemant Jalan and Shankar Acharyya were runners up.

The IMP Pairs event was won by Raju Bhiwandikar and R Shridharan. Sukanta Das and Basudeb Bhattacharya were runners up.
