Special Prizes

There were no claimants for yesterdays special prizes.

Greenhorn Prizes

The winners for the newcomer prizes for the three days are as given below. We regret the inability to publish them daily due to circumstances beyond our control.

Claiming of Prizes

A total of 93 prizes were awarded during this event. As such the logistics of handling these prizes is a bit challenging and difficult to manage.

The list of prize winners is given here

Trophies will be awarded for the first 2 places (overall) in Gold and Silver.

The trophies will be personalised and sent to one address per pair.

All winners are requested to fill in this form and submit.

The number of winners is just too huge to cope with individually. Therefore, you are all requested to not contact me or any of the BFH team in this regard by mail or any other method. If you still persist, please forgive us if we do not respond to your query.

Vote of Thanks

A tournament of this size and nature cannot be executed without a lot of co-ordinated work from everybody. Therefore, on behalf of all of us who enjoyed this tournament, BridgeFromHome would like to thank everybody associated with the organization of the event. While the number of names are too many to mention, a few of them must be named.

First of all, we would like to thank Umesh Rao, son of UNN Rao. Without his beneficence, this event would not have taken place. He has assured us of support to the game in the coming years and we hope to see many more events sponsored by him.

Next, of course would be R. Krishnan aka Kista, who has conceived this event in all its complexity. It would have taken a lot of effort to figure out things to the minutest details, including the elusive daily special prizes! It is probable that some people have helped him in its conception, and therefore, we extend our thanks to them as well.

Special thanks are due to the Bridge Federation of India who graciously accommodated an event of this scale into its ever tightening schedule keeping in mind everybody's convenience.

Thanks are also due to the KSBA, the institution that is handling the distribution of prizes and trophies.

Finally, the biggest thanks are reserved for you, dear players. Without your phenomenal response, the event would not have had a fraction of the shine it did. We hope you keep responding to all events in the same manner and keep the game of bridge alive.

Thank you
