WBF Women’s Team Event

The WBF is hosting a tremendous initiative to promote Women's Bridge world wide. To quote from the tournament brochure.

This event is being run by the WBF Women’s Committee so that women from across the
globe can play competitively without the potential limitations of cost and travel. Our
Worldwide WBF Teams Online, will come with all the entry requirements and rules as if this
was a live championship. (Commitment forms, System Cards and WBF Registration).

It will take place between 16-18 Feb, 2024

As WBF President, Jan Kamras, says in his message

The salient features of the competition are given below

  • Any number of teams may enter, but all the players in a team must be registered with the same National Bridge Federation.
  • There can be up to eight players on each team to help facilitate the three-day online event (on RealBridge).
  • WBF Online Master points will be awarded.
  • Format, Schedule, Conditions of Contest will follow when entries are in.
  • Entry payment 40 euros
