Ladies and Gentlemen,
"The Senior (S)cambridge : it is diabetic "!
Sometimes you know that you are fighting a losing battle. But fight, you must, in my opinion.
Congrats are due for the Dhampur Sugar Mills team for establishing they are really Seniors 👏👏👏. Especially it is sweeter since our own KRV is a lump of sugar in the Dhampur bowl!
But what I don't understand is why so much "Jalan" that you want to concede with a whole session of 16 boards still to go? Search me 🙃
Learn from the Indian cricket team. We could have conceded there too after the nemesis was 100 for no loss. But no, that is not the spirit of sportsmanship!
Every dog has his day - and sometimes it is a dog's day albeit with your tail between your legs. You simply forget to bark, leave alone bite 😢.
The vast majority of bridge players in general, are seniors, alright. By age at least!
Yesterday was one of those dog days. We ( he?) tried our best but failed to become first from the bottom 😭. The history has place for both Akbar & Aurangzeb!
Every bridge player can boast of his own tales of woe! It is sweet when you win, but you get diabetic when you lose 😆
Quite often, you feel "Claustrophobic " on the bridge table in spite of.....
You must be mature enough to take both ends - the peak and the nadir - in your wake. Some days are dream days and some others you have to forget as a"bad dream"!
Just log on and wait for your wagon!
Happy bridging ( win or lose)
