It’s a lovely notion.
Dream on for this year at any rate.
I’ll be amazed if India make the KO stages.
And don’t get me wrong I’m fully supportive of Indian bridge and its future success.
England have not qualified this year.
The Field is exceptional and many play cutting edge bridge - hyper aggressive, forcing errors. Indian bridge is conservative and does not put enough pressure on opponents.
Two years time India might make the KO stages, but not with steady, traditional bridge.
Just my opinion - I look forward to being proved wrong.
