Team Fenesta faces off with Hope n Prey in the Finals
Team Fenesta (Richa Shriram, Ranjan Bhattacharya, Badal Das, Koushik Mukherjee, Kachchu and Bardhan) hammered the highly fancied Maya Meera Sneha with a session to spare. The other semi final was more of a ding dong battle, with the less fancied team Hope n Prey (Shambhu Ghosh, Joy Narayan Roy, Sukanta Das and Bhaskar Sarkar) just managing to pip team Baneet to the post by 2 IMPs.
We hope for a cracker of a final between these teams.
Earlier, Team Hope n Prey just about managed to make it to the semi finals by first tying with Shree Cements and going into a tie break. Team Fenesta also squeezed into the Semi Finals with a 3 imp win over team Mohota. The losing semi finalists Maya Meera Sneha and Baneet had a more comfortable entry into the semi finals.
Match Point Pairs
Ajay Khare and Raju Tolani were leading at the end of session two of the pairs second elimination. We do not have any update beyond that.
