NEWTOBRIDGE is an initiative started by Arvind Vaidya in collaboration with a couple of his students, Yuvraaj Oberoi and Divya Rai.
To people in the mainstream of bridge, Arvind needs no introduction. He is an Advance Life Master (India) and has also been a national champion.
He has been teaching bridge now for over 20 years with a large proportion of his students falling into precisely this category. People from Mumbai, where he hails from, know him to be somebody who invests in his students by actively participating with them in tournaments held in the city when he could easily walk into any of the top teams playing there.
To start with, the initiative offers a bidding system document for Precision Club or Strong Club players, presented in a user friendly, flow chart layout. While presently, this is available on the web, subscribers can have soon have their own personal copy delivered to them by courier should they so desire.
In addition to coaching newcomers to bridge, they also provide intermediate intermediate level training, and partnership training .
