Ladies and Gentlemen,
As there is no end to learning, any subject including Bridge, one continues to learn.
There are many known teachers in the community. You have Narayan Iyer and Sunil Varghese in Chennai, Ravi Raman and Arvind Vaidya in Maharashtra, Manoj and Girish in Bangalore, Parimal Vahalia in Ahmedabad and many more who the writer may not be aware of too!
One good solution to this endeavour is to Teach the Teachers to Teach! ( TTT)
The bridge fraternity is grateful that an initiative has started, thanks to Mini (aka Bindiya) and Priya with a score of others joining hands! Zaroor, Bindiya chamkegi! Any effort with a noble cause has to succeed, albeit it may take time 🙂.
In Maharashtra too, the MBA has undertaken a huge task of training people who would like to teach in a recently concluded program. We wish this program all success and hope it continues to gather momentum.
There have been, at every point of time at different stages of this game, noble teachers who all did a selfless, stupendous job without expecting any personal gain 👌. A case comes readily to mind in the form of Vinay Desai who has been coaching juniors for the past several years without any remuneration.
It is like a "Green revolution" , each person plants a tree and nurtures it. Each player teaches at least one person.
The multiplier effect would be simply mind boggling!
And methods and contents of teaching keep evolving with time. So the need for new and more learning - you have to be "Back to school", year after year.
If someone has to learn, someone hast to teach. If anyone has to teach, he/ she has to be taught to teach!
You may think it is a "mini" job but it sure is going to be an enormous task.
Let us all lend a hand to this noble cause.
Every player owes it to the game to bridge the gap 🙂
Happy Teaching, Learning and Bridging,
VNR

A fantastic effort of mini and Priya. Future Indian bridge shall remain indebted to them. knowing and teaching are mutually exclusive. the systematic teaching undoubtedly shall bring result. Kudos to them and to those who joined their hands.
