A Few Thoughts for Diwali

"Fireworks for Diwali - Cardworks for Bridge! "

Recently at Coonoor, many friends asked "What happened to your blogs? Why this long hiatus?"

So I was reassured that the audience are still with me and assured them there will be a Diwali special!

Unlike Diwali, which you celebrate once a year, the game of Bridge is something you cherish and celebrate day in and day out, all through the year!

Bridge is an Enigma or a Myth? Difficult to say - but certainly it is an addiction, a pleasant one, alright 👌. Once you are hooked, you need the daily fix 🥰🙃

It is beyond me to explain this funny phenomenon:

You win at Bridge, you want to play more.. You lose at bridge, still you want to play more 😇 .More you win, more you play, more you lose, you go back with vengeance to play more 🤣

Why? Search me, no logical answer. But what is certain is the addict simply wants to play, every day, every waking hour, morning or evening.. Who cares!

Hanging out in BBO during all your spare / free time is just thing you want to do. May be Kilimanjaro pairs, Croatian Rhapsody, Blond Magic Or Early Bird, Ash-Win, Shree Cement, ACB.... Who cares, you just need the fix, you need the adrenaline pumping!

You need the fireworks, with / without noise for Deepavali. You need the Card works with all the fanfare and din at Bridge table.
Bridge is like Politics - there are no permanent friends or enemies 😅😉

Happy Deepavali and more Bridge, on or off line!

Cheers
VNR
