A Dollar for your Thoughts

V N Ramamoorthy

Ladies and Gentlemen,

"A dollar for your first thought, a penny for the second" !

Quite often a bridge player is at cross-roads, not knowing which way to turn to.

If you are on top of a bridge (a fly over?), you have a bird's eye view, so to speak. All the roads, hurdles, hazards and the way ahead are crystal clear!

Unfortunately, on the table one gets a limited picture. To discern the way to victory you have to think πŸ™ƒ

Like whether to take a finesse this way or that, whether to play for a drop, is it possible to eliminate and throw in etc.

Yes, you get "Thoughts". Alternatives present themselves in your mind.

But believe me, what occurs first to your mind is most likely the right path. No second thought, literally!

It has evolved from my personal experience. What comes to your mind first, go along inspite of any second thought πŸ™‚

Go for the Dollar, ignore the penny 😌

Think about it. A penny for your thought πŸ™‚

Happy bridging,

Cheers
VNR
