Group Popular Swiss Pairs

In our ongoing partnership with Group Popular, BridgeFromHome will be conducting a Swiss Pairs Championship online on 16th and 17th July, 2022.

The event will be played on RealBridge.

Scoring will be cross IMPs converted to VPs (continuous 20-point scale)

• This event will be played with screens
• Players must have functional video and audio to be eligible for prizes
• Withdrawals during the event are not permitted.
• Players may participate as a trio
• Entry Fee Rs. 900.

All participants will play as one field on the 16th of July. After 9 rounds of 6 boards each, all players will be divided into 2 groups depending on their rank after close of play. The pairs will compete for prizes in their respective groups.

Each group will play a further 9 rounds of 6 boards each on the 17th of July

The schedule on both the days will be as follows

• 10 am                          Round 1
• 11 am                           Round 2
• 12 noon                       Round 3
• 2 pm                            Round 4
• 3 pm                            Round 5
• 4 pm                            Round 6
• 5 pm                            Round 7
• 6 pm                            Round 8
• 7 pm                            Round 9

* The organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule based on participation as well as speed of play.
