Kabra National Women Pairs – An Event with a Difference

An event with a difference!

BridgeFromHome rarely comments on events conducted by the BFI except in a peripheral manner. Yet, once our attention was drawn to the Kabra All India National Women Pairs Championships, we could not help but want to highlight a few of the features of this event which make it different from almost any other event we have witnessed. What are these differences? We will attempt to lay them down in the next few paras

An event tailored to help even the average lady player improve her bridge

Most national championships are all about determining the national champions, providing ranking points for selection trials and prize money. This event promises to be all that and more.

The event actually kicks off with tips on bidding and play to help those desirous of learning more than they normally do.  There are two more sessions where hands from the session will be discussed for those who wish to understand what they did right (or wrong).

Amazing Prize Money

With a total prize purse of Rs. 3,80,000, this is definitely the biggest prize money event we have seen solely for ladies. Indeed, we do not see this level of prize money for even national championship.

Event Details

The Kabra All India National Women Pairs Championship is going to be conducted in Pune from the 19th to 21st of September, 2022.

Details of the event can be seen in the brochure

So ladies, do make it a point to participate in huge numbers in this event.
