Manyawar lift KBA-CSL Title
Manyawar (Anil Padhye - Milind Athavale - Raju Tolani - Ajay Khare - Pramod Joshi - CP Deshpande) emerged champions of the KBA - Cochin Shipyard Limited State Championship in style. They racked up a total of more than 73 VPs in 5 rounds (an average of over 14) to be clear winners
Sarla (Rajeev Khandelwal - Himani Khandelwal - Vrinda Jhunjhunwala - Anil Mohota - Arun Puranik - Shailendra Chchajed) came comfortably second by winning the last round with a nearly perfect margin.
Bidders (Abhirup Ghosh - Arnab Basu Roy - Arnab Ghosh - Babhrubahan Bose - Indranath Chatterjee), who did play well throughout the tournament had to be content with third place.

The leaders at the halfway stage staved off a determined challenge from Girish Kumar and S M Moin To emerge victors in the match point pairs event. Raju Santra and Dilip Mistry were in third place.
