A Quiver Full Of Arrows – yet, a bag full of sorrows!

V N Ramamoorthy

It has been scientifically established that playing bridge keeps your brain active and healthy. But the side effect seems to be a lot of heartburn! πŸ™ƒ

Because you don't know how to deal with the deals you lost. You are happy to brag about that one deal out of one score when you hoodwinked the opponents to get a top πŸ˜ƒ

I am more or less sanguine that there will be more "Sob stories" in the repertoire of a bridge player. But it is an accepted practice to talk only about your success stories!

Bridge is a funny game alright 😁. The more you win, the more you want to play. And the more you lose, still more you want to play πŸ˜‡ . What an anti - thesis!

After all, "Loser on Loser" is a winning formula πŸ˜‰

If you need to pep yourself up, read the evergreen work "A Quiver Full of Arrows" by Jeffrey Archer, seriouslyπŸ™.

Next time you are at a bridge table, don't shiver. You have your quiver with those 13 lethal arrows. The challenge is to find the "Brahmastra"!

Happy bridging ( archery?)
