Ashok Ruia Senior IMP Pairs
After 3 sets of 14 boards each, Rajeev Deo and Vilas Chouthai clinched the Ashok Ruia Senior Pairs championship with a score of +77 imps. They were followed, in second place, by NC Kothari and Suresh Lele. Borhan Ali and BD Nayak were in 3rd place. I have to say it is heartening to see non standard names clinching honors. No one among the top 3 pairs is a National Master.

fantastic coverage by sukrit. I wish he be in this work rather than be a director. very well done by Mithun again after HCL am-pro event. consistent enough. an active member of amarnath Banerjee’s lawrance club. unfortunately amarnath could not play due to momentary weakness but he is well now. mithun should be more happy that he bring the trophy to their club. kamalda is Kamalda the genius. Kudos to the senior winners. it is very gratifying to know that none of them are even national Masters. it proves that still we have hopes in bridge.
