The Logic of Bridge - Sarika Mittal
Bridging heart and logic!
Often I face this dilemma weird,
Hoping my opponents are not math wiz I so often feared…
My self doubts always manifest,
What if I err and don’t play my best?
My reputation as a bridge player would be put to test…..
But is bridge only about logic?
If so,my results would always be chaotic?
Agreed bridge is not just frolic,
But requires thinking big like a titanic
I certainly need to analyze more on the topic!!
No matter how our logic makes us smart,
There is a certain element playing involving the heart,
Which sets everyone’s game apart,
Like robots from our emotions we cannot depart,
And that’s what playing bridge makes the best and fun part!
PS:So no more fearing my math oriented opponents plus I can certainly count to 13!
