Kairali Bridge Association, along with BPCL. are proud to present the KBA Open Bridge All India Bridge Championships from 22nd to 24th March, 2024. The event will be conducted under the aegis of the Bridge Federation of India.
The event will take place at the Kottayam Club (Annex), Kumarakkom, Kerala
Enjoy a high prize money tournament by the side of Kerala's famed backwaters. You may even have the unforgettable experience of playing bridge in the houseboat alongside (if you qualify for the teams Super League)
The bridge will be played in air conditioned comfort to enable you to play at your best.
Accommodation is easily available at reasonable rates in nearby hotels, guest houses and resorts. A list of these hotels is provided in a separate tab.
The Championships will feature three events.
- Swiss Teams - which will be played on 22nd and 23rd March.
- Match Point Pairs - which will be played on 23rd and 24th March.
- IMP Pairs - which will be played on 24th March
Guaranteed Prizes of Rs. 4 Lakhs on offer
- On Friday, 22nd March, all teams will play in a Swiss League of 6 Rounds, each consisting of 10 boards
- After 6 rounds, the top 6 teams will qualify to play in a Super League of 5 Rounds, each consisting of 10 boards on on Saturday, 23rd MarchPlayers from these teams, who have previously registered for the match point pairs shall qualify directly for the MP Pairs Finals.
- Entry Fee : Rs. 2,500 per team (of 4 persons. 5th and 6th person to be charged Rs. 500 each)
- Prizes : 7 prizes totaling Rs. 2 Lakhs

- Approximately 50% of the field will qualify for the second elimination
- The non qualifiers can play in consolation Match Point Pairs event
- Approximately 35% of the field in the second elimination will qualify for the finals
- Entry Fee : Rs. 1,200 per pair
- Prizes : There are many prizes for each session
