The National Junior and Youth Online Championship will be conducted by the Bridge Federation of India from 22-26 December 2021.
Categories and Other Details
- There are 4 categories
- Youth (below 31 years of age)
- Junior (21-25 years of age)
- Youngsters (16-21 years of age)
- Kids (below 16 years in age)
- The youth and juniors will play as one category on Realbridge
- Youngsters and kids will play as one category on BBO
- Both categories will have teams and pairs events as shown on the schedule page
- Performance in this event will be counted for getting selected the Indian Team Trials for Juniors and Youth Championships for participating in the World Youth Championships
- Event is open to Indian players only. Maximum 6 players per team.
- For playing in the event, all players should play within their category based on the age bracket mentioned.
- A player more than 31 years of age should not enter the event.
- Girls under 21 should perform as a single team of all girls.
- Only Indian Passport holders are allowed to participate.
- All the participants except those coming in Kids category should be registered under BFI Master Point Scheme for awarding them Master Points for the event.
- Entries for the event will start from 15th Dec 2021.
- For playing on “Realbridge” platform, players have to ensure that they have a laptop / desktop, I-pads or PC with Camera & Microphone facility and a good internet connection. This is a mandatory condition and players should ascertain that they are equipped with the required paraphernalia before entering the event. It may please be noted that you can’t play the event on mobile phone.
- Detailed information on the schedule will be circulated on the BFI web site & various Bridge related WhatsApp groups by 5th Dec 2021.
